Graduation System - Identidade Kwanza

Identidade Kwanza’s graduation system organizes progression in a clear way aligned with the practitioner’s technical and formative development.

Graduations are structured in stages, from student to the more advanced levels (Monitor, Instructor, Professor, Contramestre, and Mestre), with degree subdivisions that allow for gradual and consistent progress.

The Trainee phase is applied to practitioners from other groups who already hold a graduation, serving as an adaptation period for technical evaluation, lived experience, and alignment with the group’s values.

For children and youth, the structure respects the development of each age group.

Graduation represents maturity, technical development, and cultural experience in capoeira, reflecting the practitioner’s commitment to their own evolution and to the group.
